The Principles of Good Taste and Ornament
(2020)
Jada Henry’s debut novel, The Principles of Good Taste and Ornament, was released in July 2020. The novel follows societal prescriptions assigned to women in a thrilling tale. She wrote her novel to explore the expected functionality of the average woman in a misogynistic society that enables restrictive ideals. This story scratches the surface of what lies beneath the collective identity of what it should mean to be a woman versus what it actually is for each unique identity. The Principles of Good Taste and Ornament is available for purchase on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
“Jada Henry is the voice of a new generation of women who leave no apologies and takes no prisoners. Her words ignite a fire inside you that women have felt since the beginning of time.” - Pei Ja Anderson, Author of Consequences of Flight
“The Principles of Good Taste and Ornament is a truthful and baring story with characters that every reader has ‘met’ at one point in their life or another. It is elegant and raw.” -Samantha Finley, Author of Shades

“I thought I'd retired my comically reflective tangents and (un)refined thoughts but it turns out I was just kidding. So, hear me out...”
So, Hear Me Out…largely functions as a perspective body of writing, but incoorporates a mix of media that frame my narrative.
