Her story
Jada Henry is an actor, filmmaker, and writer who forms her sense of storytelling through an anthropological lens. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Jada grew up with a great sense of community and a curiosity for people and culture. With an expansive imagination and vigorous ambition, she found her way to New York City, where she studied film, art, and history. She wrote her first novel, The Principles of Good Taste and Ornament, in 2020, and after graduating from Pace University, she has gone on to work for Slight Breeze Studios, Paramount’s CBS News, New York International Children’s Film Festival, The American Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival, and more. Her education has expanded to The Barrow Group Performing Arts Center, Gotham Writers Workshop, and Lubin School of Business Graduate Studies.
